For this role you must be self-confident, with personal drive and proactive approach to seek opportunities for the brand. Analytical skills is a must, but more digging into the core and drawing right conclusions. Proper mix of creative thinking and analytical skills is defining the success of a Brand Manager. You need to inspire teams around to drive the brand to a new level to achieve the big ambition, thus compelling storyteller and presenter is also very desirable.
Dewar’s and Aberfeldy are highly potential brands, but you need to treat them with Founders approach choosing big bets and priorities.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
- You will input to the situation assessment of your Brand in Russia, contributing to defining Russian "Core Consumer Challenge" and “Jobs to be Done” each year as part of the annual Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process, partnering with Consumer & Commercial Insights to develop local consumer, shopper and customer learnings on triggers and barriers to Brand growth
- You will extend the IAP into a robust Russian brand plan, coordinating with local Customer Marketing team to deliver maximum impact in-market and deliver annual Brand financial and commercial targets
- You will manage an A&P budget for your brand as assigned to you by the Marketing Manager
- You will lead the in-market delivery of all consumer-facing Brand activities and partner with Customer Marketing on all trade-facing activities, as defined in the IAP, ensuring executional excellence
- You will work with Insights to ensure we measure and evaluate the performance of all Brand activities in Russia to optimize A&P spend
- Partner with Consumer & Commercial Insights team to build deep understanding of the target consumer and shopper for your Brand in Russia in order to tailor local execution of Brand activities effective
- Lead the digital communication of the brand on the social networks working with agencies for the creation of the assets & the recommendation of the digital strategy
- Lead & inspire commercial organization to ensure brand growth
- Define Innovation agenda & pipeline
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
- Good analytical skills with ability to draw right conclusions
- Brand management experience is desirable
- Experience in leading or supporting brand strategy development & marketing planning
- Experience multiple specialty areas: digital, innovation, promotions, events, media, etc.
- Verbal/written skills at all levels in an organization; ability to generate meaningful presentations
- Fluent command in English
